Battlespace

Tri-ang introduced the first model in an action series which was later to be called 'Battlespace' in 1957. The series grew slowly to seven models during the early 1960's but it took off in a big way during the Tri-ang Hornby era and peaked in 1967. There were then over 20 models including locomotives, coaches and special wagons.

Some of them are much sought after, the 'Q car' exploding box car being the rarest item and the missile emplacements are similarly hard to find.

Here is a selection of the models available.
